Tour of LifeTown
When students arrive, they gather in the
Meeting Room to learn details about what to
expect during their visit.
Then they travel through LifeTown, making
appointments, visiting the venues, shopping or
even applying for jobs.
The Park
Students can spend free time at
the park playing with visiting dogs,
rent specially equipped bikes to
ride around the track, or purchase
pretzels or ice cream from the ice
cream stand. A policeman is on hand
to teach pedestrian safety and
control traffic with the working
traffic lights. Safety lessons are
reinforced with occasional warnings
or tickets. Many schools bring their
lunches and stay to eat their meal
in the park. Occasionally special
exercise or other classes will be
held in the park.
